- 1. We used Photoshop to create our magazine pages HD/Digital camera: The HD camera made my pictures clear, and it made it easy to edit the picture . But If I used an old camera ,I would not be able to edit the pictures. When I uploaded the pictures on to Photoshop I was able to crop the pictures . The reason why I did this was because I needed to cut out bits that I did not need; I was also able to change the pictures’ contrast, brightness, and even add effects to change the way the pictures looked. - 2. I used photo shop to manipulate images. I did this by going to Filter - > Enhance; this was very usefully because I wanted to make my pictures look very realistic. Text/shapes colour: you can increase the size of a text box and the text itself or you can choose to decrease the text box. And you could change the colour of the font which made things very interesting because there were so many colours that you could choose from. Apply an effect to the masthead: I specially used this because I wanted my masthead to stand out. Using/choosing the effect itself takes some time to find out. I went through a process to find the right effect. It needed to pass all the requirements which is that it needed to be eye catching, bright and clear. Photoshop helped me to play with the layout, this made it easy because I could decide where I wanted to place elements of my magazine. It helped me to move the masthead around and decide where I needed to put my data and barcode, either on the top or bottom

- 4. Contrast is the amount of light that reflects in a picture. I apply this onto my work making a picture either brighter or darker.
- 5. Crop means to take out part that you do not need. In my work I have cut out the parts that I did not need
- 6. Fuji camera - allowed me to take more interesting pictures I used the schools computer and USB cable to transfer my pictures onto the computer, to then be edited and manipulated
