The student took pictures of classmates posing as rock stars using a camera, which allowed mid-shots to be uploaded to a computer. Photoshop was then used to layout the magazine pages and insert the pictures, enabling an easy and free magazine to be created. Additional fonts were found on Font Space to make the magazine more conventional. Skills learned from the camera, Photoshop, and websites like Font Space will help with future projects.

- 2. CAMERA • First step I took in making my magazine cover was by taking pictures of suitable class mates to pose as rock stars for my magazine. The camera enabled me to take a suitable mid-shot of the volunteers and then by using a memory card upload it to a computer. • Furthermore, the quality of the picture was excellent, the camera allowed me to have a focussed picture and suitable quality for the editing software.
- 3. PHOTOSHOP • Before I got the pictures involved in the design, I made page layouts. I did this over Photoshop where I could get suitable fonts, colours and backgrounds for the magazine. • Later I did the completed magazine pages and Photoshop enabled me the get the pictures in their right positions. • Without Photoshop I wouldn’t of been able to make a magazine so easy and for free. • Along with this I picked up many useful skills with Photoshop that would enable in other products in the future.
- 4. FONT SPACE • To get more aggressive fonts to make the magazine more conventional I used a website called font space which enabled me to get the right fonts which made the magazine better. • I learned off, websites such as font space which would again help me with other products in the future.
