About UESTC
University of Electronic Science and Technology
of ChinaFounded in 1956.
Located in Chengdu, a time-honored city famous
for its history, culture and landscapes.
UESTC is reputed as “ the cradle of China ’s
national electronic industry”.

Was founded in 1956. In the downtown of Chengdu.
Occupying an area of 130 acres.
Was put into use in 2007. In the hi-tech zone of Chengdu.
Covering an area of 650 acres.
It had been a polytechnic school before it was merged into UESTC in 2001.
Occupying an area of 15 acres.

working hard for building the
Shahe campus in 1956.
Faculty and students were
studying in the oldest library.
