This paper presents a microcontroller-based temperature monitoring and logging system designed for hospitals, featuring continuous patient temperature monitoring with instant display and data logging capabilities. It utilizes an Atmega16 AVR microcontroller, EEPROM for data storage, and GSM for remote notifications, ensuring compliance with health regulations while aiming to reduce human error associated with manual logging. The system architecture includes modules for power supply, data acquisition, and user interface, making it adaptable for various hospital environments, particularly in developing countries.
