Cédric Giorgi founded Cookening in September 2011 to create an experience for sharing home cooked meals. Over the following two years, he defined the Cookening experience, developed specifications, tested initial meals, launched a logo/website, and recruited hosts. The service publicly launched in May 2013 and continued growing its network of hosts and meals in the following months. Cookening aims to provide a cultural experience through shared meals in users' homes.
