This document summarizes the development of the SAC (Southeast Asian Culture) digital repository from 1999 to present. It discusses the early databases created in 1999, a turning point in 2013 when digital content policies were established, and new challenges from 2018-2022. Home Made Metadata • 15 core elements (++sub-elements), namely,Title, Creator, Subject, Description, Publisher, Contributor, Date,Type, Format, Identifier, Source, Language, Relation, Coverage, Rights. • Major standard metadata set of the SAC databases. • Mostly use with intangible digital record (inf. from summary/analysis, digitisation, field notes, etc.).The SAC does not hold physical object.
