This document discusses the growth of OpenStreetMap mapping in Nepal from 2011 to 2015. It notes that in 2011 there were only around 25 mappers and 2.9 lakh mapped features, but that serious mapping began in 2012 with the mapping of Kathmandu. It describes how Kathmandu Living Labs was formed in 2013 to organize OSM efforts in Nepal and how they conducted many mapping parties to engage students, NGOs, and developers. The document also outlines how key areas like schools and hospitals have been mapped as well as individual communities. It concludes that now there are over 1800 contributors who have mapped over 26 lakh geographic elements.
