This classroom action research investigates the implementation of the quiz-quiz-trade and fan-n-pick learning models to improve social skills and cognitive learning outcomes in social studies for fifth-grade students at SDN Polehan 1 Malang. The results demonstrate significant enhancements in both social skills—from 75.83% in cycle I to 80.45% in cycle II—and cognitive learning outcomes, increasing from 31.57% pre-cycle to 81.57% in cycle II. The study concludes that these cooperative learning models effectively foster better student engagement and learning achievements.
