Think: and then Write
Many people are there who are trying hard to get their papers and write ups published in
journals. Indeed, it is not at all easy to make a place there. In case you are one of such
aspirants then you need to hone your skills and act tactfully. It is not only about hard work,
it is also about how you use your pen.
Take a step closer towards journals with the following points:
There are many things that can help you in getting closer to international journals and
some of them are as under:
Don’t go for clichés
There are many topics that have become clichés in this present era. Even if you look for
International Journals, you can see many students writing on the similar types of topics. It is
okay to pick a topic as per your taste and convenience but what is the point if you are
picking a common topic that is taken by eight out of ten individuals? These things will affect
the chances of your paper getting published in a journal. Certainly, since there are many
people writing on a same topic, the competition is going to be cut throat. But if you have
picked any other topic that is important, interesting and effective but not so common; you
can end up with your write up published in a journal.
Keep it neat
Many people try to make use of words and phrases that are absolutely absurd. This way,
they irritate the editors and lose the chance to get their paper published in a journal. If you
are mistaken good vocabulary and tough words as alike then you need to free yourself from
this notion. There is difference between using good vocabulary and using tough words.
When you pick tough words in a paper or write up to be published in an International
Journals, you actually ditch your own paper. Of course, tough words are not going to convey
your messages in an effective and influential manner.
Similarly, if you are using good vocabulary words that are apt, they will leave a powerful
impact on the readers and editors. After all, it is your vocabulary that talks about your grasp
over your language and understanding of words. So, while you are writing, don’t try to
impress by using tough words that you too are taking from dictionaries; rather go for words
that are qualitative yet apt for a specific setting.
Thus, when you are aiming for International Journals, you have to think, plan, write and
express in an advanced manner. Just think like a reader and you will get answer for most of
your questions. After all, it is about your paper and not about leaving hollow impressions.
