Environmental Management
 What is the quality of environment?
 Why it is important to protect the environment?
 How can we protect the environment?
 What does the social environment include?
 Why is it important to have good Water quality?
 What Is Protection of Environment?
 Environmental quality is a set of properties and characteristics of
the environment, either generalized or local, as they impinge on
human beings and other organisms. It is a measure of the condition
of an environment relative to the requirements of one or more
species and or to any human need or purpose.
 It is important to protect the environment because man-made
disruptions to ecosystems can cause extinction, because pollution
creates dangers for both animals and people, and because mankind
owes the natural world a moral obligation.
Seven Steps To Improve Your Environment And Quality Of Life
 Conserve energy by using energy efficient lighting, computers, and
heating systems. Conserve water by fixing leaking faucets and using
water-efficient appliances.
 Expand your mind instead of your electric bill. Read a book instead
of watching television. It uses less power and gives you more.
 Take advantage of natural daylight. Turn off lights when you leave
the room and use timers on lights needed for security.
 Run fans and enjoy the breeze through open windows during the
summer. Fans use far less energy than air conditioning but turn
fans off when you leave the room. Turn down the heater and wear
your favorite sweater during the winter.
 Walk instead of using mass transit. Take a hike instead of a drive.
It’s good for your body and the environment.
 Eat more salads and cook a little less often. Buy locally grown fruits
and vegetables. They taste better and use less energy to reach your
town.
 Run dishwasher with a full load, spend less time in the shower and
flush the toilet less often to save water. Switch washing machine’s
temperature from "hot" to "warm" when practical to save energy.
Total Quality Environment
 The social environment, social context, sociocultural context refers
to the immediate physical and social setting in which people live or
in which something happens or develops. It includes the culture that
the individual was educated or lives in, and the people and
institutions with whom they interact.
 Water quality is important because it directly affects the health of
the people, animals and plants that drink or otherwise utilize
the water. When water quality is compromised, its usage puts users
at risk of developing health complications. The environment also
suffers when the quality of water is low.
 Environmental protection is a practice of protecting the natural
environment on individual, organisation controlled or governmental
levels, for the benefit of both the environment and humans....
 At last I want to conclude that Environment is our home, instead of
using for our greediness we should pay attention to maintain the
quality of it.
 Clean Environment is important for health of humans.
 Every country must ensure that its citizen lives in a better and
healthy environment.
 And it is also the duty of the citizen to protect and preserve their
environment.
