This document discusses the challenges facing international cooperation in achieving an ambitious post-2015 global development agenda as outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It identifies six main challenges: 1) Mobilizing all relevant parties and resources to implement the SDG agenda. 2) Moving towards more multi-stakeholder, multi-sector approaches and partnerships. 3) Taking a more "transformative" approach across sectors, conflicts, capacities and governance. 4) Shifting from technology transfer to supporting interactive social innovation. 5) Moving to more interdisciplinary, problem-oriented research. 6) Achieving policy coherence across external and internal policies.
