Sheffield Tree Felling • Residents of Rivelin Road determined to block the removal of 31 lime trees - 700 all together which is the second longest avenue of lime trees in the UK - 3 and a half miles • Trees would be felled because they may be damaged when the road has been resurfaced - protester: “That’s a bit like saying I might graze my finger and it might go septic so I’m going to amputate my hand now.
