The document describes the Anima Mundi model, which represents the four classical elements - Earth, Air, Water, Fire - arranged in a pattern. It explains how this pattern can be visualized as a tree when rotated 90 degrees, with Air and Fire rising and Earth and Water falling. - 4. To perceive a tree in this model we need to turn the pattern around 90 degrees. This is the way gravity organises the elements on planet Earth. Air and Fire rise, Water and Earth fall. UP AIR FIRE EARTH WATER DOWN
- 5. The roots draw up the water (Water) and minerals (Earth) in a process called osmosis. The leaves are factories that convert carbon dioxide (Air) into oxygen using sunlight (Fire). This process is called photosynthesis (a photon is a light particle). r Fir Ai e Ea rt h ter Wa

On the model pictured here (the model that explains the psyche) there is a natural flow of energy from Source to Wealth - from the womb at the base to the area of greatest manifestation at the apex. - 11. The text continues: ‘.. and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.’ I am hoping that this means that we will eventually learn to harness the energy in sunlight. I am also hoping that astrology will gain the recognition it deserves. The intelligent application of astrology's abundant information has the potential (I believe) to lead us into a new, enlightened age. Uranus is the light-bringer, isn’t it? That oxygen is a by-product of photosynthesis might also prove significant.
