- Always check that a tripod's base plate is securely attached and legs are clipped in before use to ensure stability. The base plate allows the camera to mount to the tripod.
- A tripod's legs can be extended or shortened by undoing clips at the bottom and top of each leg to adjust the tripod's height as needed. All clips must be securely fastened once the desired height is reached.
