- 3. DR. A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, is an Indian scientist and administrator who served as the 11th President of India from 2002-2007 Kalam was born and raised in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu He was specialized in aerospace Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) Dr Kalam made significant contribution as project Director to develop India‟s 1st satellite launch vehicle (SLV-III) which successfully injected the rohini satellite in near orbit in July 1980

Ninth Lecture at Anna University On 10th June 2002 at Anna university , where he had been working since 2001 enjoying His time with large , tranquil campus, working with professors and inquisitive students on research Projects . The authorized strength of his class was 60 students but every lecture, the classroom was filled with 350 students . His purpose was to understand the aspiration of the youth , share his experience & evolve approaches for the apps of technology for societal transformation through a specially designed course of ten lectures for PG students. The PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee with agreement with coalition party NDA and Indian national congress mutalley agreed Kalam to be in Presidential elections but Abdul kalam took plenty time to decide on same.

Initiated 1st satellite launch vehicle programme (slv-3) rohini satellite Interlinked ISRO & DRDO by Bringing to similar platform in regards to Vision & Mission Created India Vision 2020 by formulating measure indicator of National prosperity index and Global Innovation index Commenced system of E- governance reducing ambiguity among department to address grievances
- 7. Contd IGMDP Programme envisaged development, Production and deployment of 4 missile Systems Prithvi, Akash, Trishul & Nag. Bringing forth Nanotechnology & Bio fuels. Brought Govt scheme „ PURA‟ (Providing urban amenities in rular areas‟
- 8. Learning from others Real time incident where his father won Panchayat elections held on rameswaram island due his noble character & being good human being. In absence of his father he receives gift on His behalf. When this incident comes on limelight kalam receives bashes from father. He quoted a Hadith which says ‘ when almighty appoints a person to a position, He takes care of his provision, If a person takes anything beyond it, that is illegal gain’
