Licenses expire 12 months from date of delivery of the License Keys. • License Keys will be provided to and administered by the University. • Students may not contact Intergraph directly for support. ECWSDK works with the Server Package. GeoMedia Objects and IMAGINE Toolkit work with the Desktop Core Package. With an SDK, students can develop code, but cannot apply/test without the use of the underlying Core products. By offering SDK’s as an add-on or sales incentive, the goal is to create/develop knowledge and use of our products by students during both their academic career and future business endeavors. - 17. 17 Frequently Asked Questions Q: When will the 2014 release be available Intergraph U Customers? A: Customers with Permanent Intergraph U products under active maintenance will receive the upgrade to Geospatial 2014 once the release is made generally available. Customers with Annual Intergraph U licenses will be eligible to receive the upgrade at annual renewal. All new sales and renewals will automatically be delivered at version 14. Q: What if the Customer is not ready to upgrade to the new version? A: The Geospatial 2014 licenses are backwardly compatible with 2013 products, which means a 14.0 license will run both 2014 and 2013 licenses. Delivering earlier versions is a manual effort and costs Intergraph time and money. Efforts should be made to minimize the number of requests for earlier versions. If an exception must be made, the version to be delivered should be specifically requested on the purchase order at the time of sale. Note that Development support of code fixes is for n and n-1 only (2014 and 2013). Additionally, minor releases are not available for versions n-2. Therefore, Intergraph will no longer deliver version 11 of the educational products. Q: I have a request for student licenses coming from a university that is still on a previous program and is current on maintenance. Can we offer free student licenses valid until their maintenance expiry date? A: Unfortunately not. The free Student Licenses are dependent upon the Customer agreeing in writing to the new Intergraph U Terms and Conditions. The new Terms and Conditions place the responsibility to comply with Export Compliance on the Customer for the Student Licenses, where the old agreements did not do so. As such, we cannot deliver Student Licenses to a Customer that has not transitioned to the new program and agreed to the Intergraph U Terms and Conditions.
