UCB, a global biopharmaceutical company, partnered with Accenture to establish an innovative analytics "Data Lab" to improve patient care and business value using internal and external data sources. The Data Lab explored key business questions through short "sprint" projects, identifying value like new ways to target physicians. Based on its success, the Data Lab helped UCB rethink its business and invest in programs for better patient outcomes and business results. It was recognized as the 2013 "ICT Project of the Year" in Belgium.
