Functional Experience Overview
Recruitment & Resourcing
 Management of complete recruitment life-cycle for sourcing talent from diverse channels after
identification of manpower requirements, right from planning till selection and on-boarding.
 Salary negotiations and issue of offer and appointment; issue of confirmation, increment and
promotion letters.
 Overseeing joining and induction / orientation formalities of new employees.

 Interfacing with the Management and Heads of the Departments for devising and implementing HR

Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
 Handled payroll for more than 800 work force spread across Karnataka.
 Implementing & administering payroll policies to ensure accurate and timely compliance with
statutory obligations.
 Wage and Salary administration, leave management and processing of payroll.
 Drafted a payroll procedure across the company and executing internal control on payroll.
 Computation and finalization of tax estimates for all the concerned employees and deduction of
TDS from salaries.
 Salary structuring for all employees and implementation of minimum wages for staff and
workers.
 Processing of performance based incentives (VP).
 Monthly consolidated MIS & cost report.
 Interacting with the Med Save consultants for obtaining quotes, and negotiating for medi-claim
health insurance policy, fire and WC policy.
 Preparation of HR reports and presentations like Manpower reports, Contract labour bills ,
overtime and late coming, absenteeism reports of on roll and off roll employees.
 Exit interviews, full and final settlements.
Statutory Compliance
 Hands on experience in complete administration and management of all compliance procedures
under various labour enactments.
 Maintaining Master roll , Wage register, Leave with wage register, Accident register, Inspection
register, Holiday register etc, as per location wise.
 Factory renewal licenses
 Liasoning with labour department, inspector of factories, PF, ESI offices & other government bodies
in compliance of statutory obligations of the employers.
 Statutory compliances, compensation and benefits administration
 Employee relations and employee engagement activities
 HR audits and implementation of industry best practices
Performance Appraisal
 Designing performance appraisal system and implementing location wise.
 Initiate, co ordinate & close the annual performance appraisals discussions with directors.
 Facilitation in fixing annual objectives with plant head, reporting managers & resolving conflicts.
 Annual Review & discussions of department promotions with Plant heads and managers.
 Developed long term relationship with employees through personal interaction and close
proximity.
 Promoted harmonious relationships between management and employees pre-empting issues
which can lead to conflict or become grievances.
Training & Development
 Training needs identification through process of performance appraisal, skill and competency gap
analysis.
 Training and development programs and report on evaluation of training effectiveness and
corrective measures
 Designing and implementation of employee motivational programs such as conducting periodical
employee satisfaction/ motivational surveys, thought for the day on daily basis etc.
 Formulation of training calendar by taking inputs from various sources.

Industrial Relations & Welfare
 Ensuring industrial peace and harmony by proactive IR approach.
 Handling disciplinary actions; issuing Advisory letter, Warning letter.
 Counseling - Employees, Production Executives, Workmen, Casual workers on Unauthorized
absent or other misconducts etc.
 Representing the Company in conciliation proceedings in labour courts etc. towards various
labour disputes.
 Handling health, safety and welfare activities of the employees.
 Grievance handling and employee counseling.
Administration
 Discharging responsibilities on whole gamut of administrative areas ranging from policy
compliance by employees, vendor management, contract administration, inventory
management, security and safety of assets as well as personnel and adherence to legal
requirements.
 Plan, organize, direct and control the work activities of the team members in order to provide
prompt and efficient services to internal customers.
 Drive contract negotiations and finalization with selected vendors / contractors.
 Analyzing the need, developing and executing the support systems and putting in place required
systems for services like security, safety, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, pantry
operations and office stationery etc.
 Responsible for planning and arranging monthly employee engagement programs, annual
events, conferences, seminars and other functions of the organization.
