• Yellow paint means nada
                         PART 2

  installed
• What parking sign regulates your space when you park
  your car in two parking zones
• How do you know when a parking sign regulates your
  parking space
You’ll learn in Part 3:
•   “No Parking Anytime” regulation-white sign
•   “Street Cleaning” regulation-white sign
•   “No Parking certain days/times” regulation-white sign
•   “No Standing Anytime” regulation-red sign
•   “Limited Parking” regulation-white sign
•   “No Standing except, except” regulation-red sign
•   “2-3-4 Headed Monster on a gotcha pole” –red, white
    and blue sign
NO PARKING ANYTIME
          • Sign indicates that
            vehicles may NOT park in
            spaces to the right of this
            sign at any time.
          • You may stop to
            load/unload packages or
            merchandise at curbside
          • And you may stop to
            expeditiously drop off or
            pick up passengers
STREET CLEANING PARKING
      REGULATION

             • Sign indicates the
               day/times vehicles may
               NOT park to the left of
               this sign
             • Broom symbol identifies
               sign as a location subject
               to street cleaning
               regulations
NO PARKING REGULATION DURING
   CERTAIN INDICATED HOURS


               • Sign indicates that
                 vehicles may NOT park
                 to the right or to the left
                 of this sign during
                 certain days/times
               • Parking is permitted all
                 other days/times
NO STANDING REGULATION
            • Sign indicates vehicles
              may NOT stand to the
              right or to the left of this
              red sign
            • You may not wait or stop
              to load/unload packages
              or merchandise at
              curbside
            • You may, however, stop
              to expeditiously drop off
              or pick up passengers
LIMITED PARKING
        • This sign indicates that
          you may park your
          vehicle up to the
          number of hours
          indicated in the top
          left corner of the sign
        • The “Except Sunday”
          means you can park
          your car to the right or
          left of this sign all day
          on Sundays
NO STANDING, EXCEPT, EXCEPT
                • No standing regulations
                  apply during specified
                  hours (7A-7P)
                • Except commercial vehicles
                  or trucks can stand to the
                  right or left of sign and
                  must pay the meter
                • 3 hour limit (commercial
                  vehicles can’t stand/park
                  for more than 3 hours)
                • Second Except means any
                  type of vehicle can park to
                  the right or left of this sign
                  on Sundays
3 (or more) PARKING SIGNS ON A
         GOTCHA POLE
                • Apply C-A-D-E to
                  each parking sign on
                  the gotcha pole
                • Top to bottom
                • Bottom red sign
                  means a passenger
                  vehicle can never
                  park here…End of
                  story
                • Skedaddle!
