- 2. What do you spend your money on each month? Does it all add up? Are you ever short? Are you able to save up?

Add these details into your budget spreadsheet under ‘Wages’ Use formulas to calculate how much you earn in a month...
- 12. Think about the lifestyle of a young person with a new job Underneath your wages section create a list of things you may spend your money on... Don’t forget to think about saving money too! Use the Internet to research realistic costs Add them into your spreadsheet (If it is a yearly figure then create a formula which will give you a monthly cost) Step 2: Now think about monthly costs... Spending / Saving Here’s a few but what else might you add?
- 13. Now create a formula which calculates the amount you have left over... Is there any money left?! Is there anywhere you can cut costs to make sure you don’t overspend? Step 3: What's left? Amount remaining... Let’s hope there is still some money left over, you might need it!
