Top Ten Tips:
1) Always think about your audience ( age, gender, class, lifestyle).
2) Keep it short and snappy. So audience won't get bored.
3) Have bold fonts to make your logo and brand name stand out, on your
advert to draw the audience in.
4) Include contrasting colours that will aim towards your audience your
trying to attract.
5) Don't over do with too many images as its distracting.
6) Proofread to make sure there is no mistakes; in spelling, punctuation or
grammar.
7) Include the facts, dont make it up.
8) Get some inspiration on what you are writing about.
9) Get a clear photo for the front page. As it is more attracting to your
reader.
10) Use different fonts to emphasize words, which will be more effective.
Poor or good ?
This is an example of a poor advert
because…
This image is poor quality
because its blurry and the
font that says `biggest sale
ever` is barely hard to read.
Use better font to
Make the words
more clear.
The background is
dull as the black
does not make the
product stand out.
Poor or good ? This is an example of a good advert
because…
Big bold heading. Use of
vibrant colours.
Uses a lot of good snappy
information.
Eye catching images .
