- 1. Unkefer Dairy Farm Farm Management Intern About the Internship Unkefer Dairy is a Jersey farm in Columbiana, Ohio. We milked about 220+/- cows and raised a majority of the heifers on farm. I started to work at the farm when I was in high school as a general laborer. My responsibilities included milking, cleaning barns and helping my boss with maintenance issues. After my first year of college, I returned to the farm as a “Farm Management Intern” where my duties expanded.
