User interface refers to the systems through which users interact with machines, including both hardware and software. The purpose of the user interface is to provide users with an effective, friendly, and enjoyable experience to achieve desired results. This experience is called the user experience. While the user interface and user experience are distinct concepts, combining them can produce the best results for communicating with and collecting information from users.
