IHOU Courses Address Various Learning Styles Engaging  Lectures Rich Media Interactive  Exercises Reflective  Discussion WWW.IHOU.ORG Each IHOU course is designed to meet multiple learning styles,  including:
Development Tools Google Docs  -  Complements MS Word and allows for the building of content in a known and shared framework. ( http://docs.google.com ) ManyMoon  -  Project Management tool that sits on top of Google Docs to help manage project deadlines and all related files.  iSpring Presenter  -  Converts PPT presentations in to web-enabled flash files (includes an audio voiceover with the slides). Development Tools StudyMate  - Enables developers to build interactive exercises based on flash cards and other game-based learning activities. Flip Book  - Allows designers to display PPT slides, articles and other text-based materials in a visually appealing environment. Other Tools   - Continual  exploration into new technology that will make IHOU courses more engaging and the transitions to new processes smooth and seamless. WWW.IHOU.ORG
WWW.IHOU.ORG Course Development Process SME and ID work together to build a course  outline SME builds out the course in text format on Google Docs ID continually reviews & begins to transfer content for online delivery ID & SME interact to clarify goals & objectives 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. If needed, ID circles back with SME for clarification. ID works with Edu Tech Team to import content to LMS.  SME, ID, Tech team review content for  final sign off 6.
