Starting a program

 The programs option usually displays Accessories,
Startup, MS-DOS prompt and windows Explorer as a
part of its submenu

 We can use the start button to start any program
we want to use , such as word processor or a
favorite game

To open the paint program
   Click Start
   Go to Programs
   Go to Accessories
   Click the MS-paint

One way of seeing what’s on our
computer is to use Windows
Explorer

With it, we can explore our disks,
folders, and files

Performing of copying, moving,
renaming, deleting becomes easy
with it

Windows Explorer is a tool used for listing files
present on the hard disk, the floppy disk or on the
CD

Explorer displays drives, available folders and
files in a single windows in which we can navigate

The left hand side column - All Folders
    Displays a list of all the disks and folders
    available on the computer
 The right hand side column
    Displays files & folders of the Folder that
    activated on left columns

Creating a folder using Windows Explorer:
 Open Windows Explorer
In Explorer, open the folder in which a new folder
to be created
 Choose New from the File menu, and then point to
Folder in the cascading menu
