This study presents a hybrid steganographic watermarking algorithm that uses discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and singular value decomposition (SVD) to enhance the security of digital fingerprint images. The proposed method embeds a facial watermark into fingerprint images without needing the original image for extraction, demonstrating robustness against various signal processing attacks. Emphasizing the importance of security in biometric data, the paper discusses the implementation and benefits of combining these techniques for improved protection of sensitive information.
