VTPie enables cloud-based payments by providing a flexible, scalable and service-oriented payments platform. The payments landscape is rapidly evolving due to factors like new technologies, regulations and customer expectations of simple, secure and fast multi-channel payments. Traditional core banking systems from the 1980s cannot meet these new demands. VTPie uses an SOA architecture and aims to lower costs through technologies like BPM, grid computing and cloud computing to allow gradual system renewal.
