This document presents a project proposal for a vehicle speed control system in restricted areas using RFID. The system aims to detect and control over-speeding vehicles in sensitive areas like schools and hospitals to reduce accidents. The proposed components include a microcontroller, RF transmitter and receiver, DC motor, motor driver IC, LCD display, and other electronic components. An estimated cost of Rs. 3000 is provided. A timeline outlines activities over 8 months including literature review, sensor study, programming, implementation, testing and thesis writing. The expected outcome is a highly automated system that can curb vehicle speeds to ensure pedestrian safety on accident-prone roadways.
