What You Need  Storyboard for Project
COEXIST
 Time
 These depend on if you
and your group have
been working hard.

Step 1: Storyboard
 Brainstorm how you are
going to make your
group research into a
film.
 Plan out your film using
notes and quick
drawings like a comic
strip.

Step 2: Gather Footage and Media
 Shoot video clips using a
camera

 Record video clips using
the webcam on your
computer.

 Use the “Audacity”
program to record
narration for your movie

 Collect photos,
slideshows, and music/
audio you may want to
include

Step 3: Upload/download the
Footage
 Save powerpoints and
slideshows.
 Upload camera footage
from the camera to the
computer
 Download pictures from
the internet, upload
images from cameras
 Everything should go on
one computer.
(Directors!)

Step 4: Organize
 Make a folder for your
Project COEXIST movie
named after your World
Religion
 Make folders in your
folder for “photos”
“video footage”
“slideshows” and “audio”
 Move all your material
from the previous step
into those folders.

Step 5: Use Windows Live Movie
Maker to Edit
 Use the button labled “Add
movies and photos.”
 Click and drag on clips to
put them in the right order.
 Add music and narration
using the add music
button.
 Use the preview window
on the left to playback your
video frequently.
 Use your storyboard to
help you put things in a
logical order.

Step 6: Save Your Video Project
 “Save As” and title your
video.
 Make sure you use the pull-
down menu to save the
video in your project folder
from Step 4
 Saving takes a LONG time
for video! If you have 10
minutes of video, expect to
use at least 20 minutes to
save it the FIRST time.

Step 7: Finishing Touches
 Add animations and
effects using the tabs
and buttons in Movie
Maker.
 Add music and
narration.
 Clean up your video by
replaying it and fine-
tuning.
