- 4. AGENDA OF GLA LIBRARY What We think about a Library System ?? It’s a well organised Software Solution for a Library. It has a Database which is constantly managed and updated. It helps to provide information on any book present in the Library . It keeps a track of books issued, returned and added to the Library. Allows users to virtually Browse the books without doing so manually. Students must have an Id card for issue and return books. Id card must bring with yourself for issue and return books. If Id card is not available then contact to the Librarian.

STEPS FOR ISSUING A BOOK • Students must have an Id card for issuing a book. • There is a Barcode reader that can scan the Id number of the student. • No other student can issue book from different Id. • No Different stream student can issue books of different stream from book -bank. • You can issue a book for only 5 days, after that you have to pay fine. • You can also issue different audio & video cd’s. • In case, if you lost the book, you have to pay fine as permissible. • If that book is not available that you are looking for then you can order for that book and it will be available within few days.

STEPS FOR RETURNING A BOOK • Students must have an Id card for returning a book. • There is a Barcode reader that can scan the Id number of the student. • No other student can return book from different Id. • You must return the book on time otherwise you have to pay fine. • In case, if you lost the book, you have to pay fine as permissible. • For any query, you have to contact to the Librarian. • You must be sincere on returning of book.
