I. DANIEL'S 70 YEARS: DANIEL 9:24-27 Context: Babylonian Captivity 605 BC Daniel captured around age 15 (8 years before Ezekiel is captured) 538 BC 1st year of Darius the Mede, Daniel fasted, prayed and confessed for Judah, Jerusalem and Israel Gabriel gave Daniel a prophecy of when Christ would come, and when the end times will follow “ Week” = “Seven” (days, months, years?)

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place. In episodes totaling 70 x 7 years (490 years): Human transgression & sin would be finished and done with Jesus would make atonement for our iniquity/sin A new, everlasting era of righteousness would begin Vision and prophecy would be fulfilled, brought to closure The most Holy Place of the Jewish temple will be anointed.

Daniel 9:25 So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress. 445 BC: Artaxerxes decrees support for Ezra to rebuild Jerusalem city & walls 69 x 7 years later (483 years/173,880 days), Messiah will appear This falls on the date of Jesus Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem in AD 32. Daniel 9:26 Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined. Jesus Crucified by Jews and Gentiles, "cut off" with "nothing"(69th Week done) Romans destroy Jerusalem and Temple in 70 AD

Daniel 9:27 And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate." The Final One Week (7 years) Roman king will make 7-year treaty with "the many" (Israel) After 3.5 years, the king (Antichrist) will betray Israel, abomination of desolation (Matthew 24:15-22) He will sit in the Temple, displaying himself as God (II Thessalonians 2:4)

Gap 2. 7 weeks (49 years) city is rebuilt in “troubled times” with Nehemiah’s leadership 5. 7-year Peace Agreement to rebuild temple 7. Return of Messiah at the end of Daniel’s 70 th week 6. Temple worship stopped after 3-1/2 years, Abomination of Desolation 4. Time Gap between Messiah and Antichrist 3. Passover 32 AD Jesus “Cut off.” 1. Command given to rebuild Jerusalem walls and street. March 445 BC 49 year + 434 year = 483 years Or 69 Weeks 7 years = 70 th Week

THE TRIBULATION I. The Seal Judgments (Rev. Ch. 6 - 8) 1. A White Horse : Crown, Bow, no arrows (Antichrist) 2. A Red Horse: War 3. A Black Horse: Inflation, Famine 4. An Ashen Horse: Death (war, famine, disease, wild animals) 5. Martyrdom : Souls of slain beneath altar 6. Creation Convulses : Earth, Sky, Heavens 7. Silence in Heaven for 1/2 hour .

THE TRIBULATION II. The Trumpet Judgments (Rev. Ch.8-11): 1. Hail, Fire and Blood : 1/3 Earth, trees, grass burned 2. Mountain of Fire into Sea : 1/3 blood, ships, creatures killed 3. Burning Star ("Wormwood") into 1/3 waters : Bitter, poisonous 4. 1/3 Sun, Moon, Stars Darkened , day cut 1/3 5. Locusts from Bottomless Pit, sting unbelievers like scorpions for 5 months 6. Plagues, Fire, Smoke Brimstone kill 1/3 of mankind 7. Loud Worship and Thanks for God Taking Power and "begun to reign."

THE GREAT TRIBULATION III. The Seven Bowls of the Wrath of God ( Rev. Ch. 16): 1. Loathsome and Malignant Sores (on those with he Mark of Beast) 2. Sea Like Dead Man's Blood (all sea life dies) 3. Rivers and Springs become Blood (like blood of saints) 4. Sun Scorches men 5. Darkness and Pain, Sores on Beast's Kingdom 6. Euphrates River Dried Up . (Kings from East can come) 7. Greatest Earthquake In History, 100 lb. Hail (cities fall, every island, mountain gone). Note: G.T. May begin with Judgment on Religious Babylon , with Commercial Babylon judged at end.

BUT NO REPENTANCE Revelation 9:20-21 : And the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the WORKS OF THEIR HANDS, so as not to worship DEMONS, AND THE IDOLS OF GOLD AND OF SILVER AND OF BRASS AND OF STONE AND OF WOOD, WHICH CAN NEITHER SEE NOR HEAR NOR WALK; and did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.

II. THE WAR OF ARMAGEDDON (HAR-MEGIDDO) The Bad Guys: 1. Dragon: Satan "And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world . . ." (Rev. 12:9). 7 heads and 10 horns + 7 crowns (Rev. 12:3) (7 heads, see Rev. 17:9-12)

The Bad Guys: 2. The Beast: Antichrist; Satan incarnate Also 7 heads and 10 horns + 10 crowns (Rev. 13:1) Fatal head wound healed, inspiring worship (Rev. 13:3) Authority over every tribe and nation (Rev. 13:7) for 42 months /3.5 years (13:5) Mark of the beast, 666 (Rev. 13:16-18) Satan incarnate ("Antichrist": I John 2:18, 2:22, 4:3 and 2 John 7)

The Bad Guys: 3. The Second Beast/False Prophet/CEO Performs great signs, calling fire down from heaven. Deceives men. Animates image of the Beast to speak, kills those who do not worship it. Causes all to have the mark of the Beast.

Seven Heads, Ten Horns? Revelation 17:9 : "Here is the mind which has wisdom. the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits, and they are seven kings ; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. The beast which was and is not, is himself also an eight and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction. the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom , but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast. These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings , and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.

Revelation 16: 12 - 16 "The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east. And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet , three unclean spirits like frogs ; For they are spirits of demons, performing signs , which to out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty . ("Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame.") And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon ."

THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB Rev 19:6-9 "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready ." It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, "Write, Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he said to me, "These are the true words of God."

The Revelation of Jesus : (19:11-16) "And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called the Word of God. And the armies which are in Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations , and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON (SHORT VERSION) (Rev. 19:19-21) And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshipped his image; those two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse , and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

SATAN IMPRISONED FOR 1,000 YEARS (Rev. 20:1-3) Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon , the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time .

THE MILLENIUM REIGN OF CHRIST (Rev. 20:4-6) Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of god, and those who had not worshipped the beast or his image , and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years .

Isaiah 2:1-4 : Now it will come about that, in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it. And many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord , to the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us concerning His ways and that we may walk in His paths." For the law will go forth from Zion And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And He will judge between the nations, And will render decisions for many peoples; And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; Nation will not lift up sword against nation, And never again will they learn war.

Isaiah 11:6-9 : And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little boy will lead them. Also the cow and the bear will graze, Their young will lie down together And the lion will eat straw like the ox. The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den. They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea .

When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison , and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore . And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them . And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. The Millenium Revolt : (Rev. 20:7-10)
