- 2. “ SlideShare is the world’s largest community for sharing presentations.” It’s a great place to share your presentation with others and meet new people.
- 3. Based in San Francisco, CA & New Delhi, India Rashmi Sinha (CEO) controls the design of the site and the community. Jonathan Boutelle (Head Geek) came up with the initial idea to create SlideShare and wrote the first version of the website. Amit Ranjan is the head of the team that built SlideShare.

- 6. SlideShare can have many uses in the class. You can have the students all make their own SlideShare account because it’s free. When you assign presentations to the class, you can have each student upload their PowerPoint presentation to their own SlideShare. They can also share it with the rest of the class by sending the link in an e-mail. This is a great way for all the students to be able to review everyone’s presentation.. Especially if the information covered is going to be on a test or quiz.
- 8. As the teacher, you can upload any presentations that you are going to give to SlideShare so that the students can print it out before class. This also lets them pay closer attention to what you’re teaching. They can take extra notes rather than scrambling to write down everything on the screen.
- 9. SlideShare makes it easier for teachers. You can upload all of your presentations onto your own account so that you don’t have to worry bringing your USB… and no worries is you forget it. You’re presentations are easily accessible through the website.
