- 2. Unity The theme is very consistent regardless of what page you are on. The colors and fonts included are similar throughout whole design as well as the proportions of the site.
- 3. Variety The layout is incredibly varied, with the title of the page to the side in large font amidst the author’s work. To the left and roughly in the center of the page is text on a dark background. Each element of the page is different and appealing to the eye.
- 4. Balance It is very symmetrical horizontally and vertically.
- 5. Scale and Proportion The way the site is set up and with the different areas throughout it are very proportional. The pictures and text decrease in size down the page in order of importance.
- 6. Rhythm The set up of the design makes the eye go across the page. The line of grass across the top also adds to rhythm of the site.
- 7. Emphasis The lay out of this site is really affective to emphasizing certain things. For example to compose a new tweet is at the top of the page and located on the left side. The majority of the page is focused on what your followers tweet.
- 8. Simplicity The page is very clear and precise. It only shows what is necessary or wanted. Gets to the point and omits information not needed.
