Web to Print – What is it?
Web to Print is an online ordering portal
which allows users, with little or no
knowledge of the print process, to access,
edit and order print documents online as
easily as ordering a book or CD.
Everything is then automatic...
A high res print file will then be sent to print
- no admin, no designers, no pre-press, no
hassle.
How it works...
Clients own site.
• Each end client will get a fully
branded secure W2P site.
• Each user has their own username
and password to give them secure
access to the W2P site and their own
image library.
•Each user will be able to create and
sent print products to print via the
variable templates within the site.
•All templates will be branded but
allow users to amend the artwork
where required.
• W2P is a very user friendly online
site, making it very quick and easy for
users to order print hassle free and
cost effectively.
Product categories
Product folders can be created to guide the users around the site with ease of finding
and ordering the product they require.
Products...
•Categories and products are a clients
choice dependant on their print
requirements.
•Each Category folder can be designed
to match the colour ways of the clients
site and can be designed with images /
text.
•Each product icon will show a small
image of the print product.
•Browsing through a site is very
simple...
1. Select a category
2. Select a product
Personalising products
Products can vary from static stock products to fully variable
brochures, there is no real limit to the type of product the Web to
Print system can produce for printing, some examples of product
templates in use are:
Business cards, letterheads, Comp slips
Posters
Flyers
Brochures
Postcards

Add product to basket...
Once the user have created their
product, they simply add the product
to the basket.
The user can then either carry on
shopping or proceed to check out, just
like any other online shop.
Before check out can be completed
the system will ask the user to ‘check
and approve their print’
Once the user approves their
personalised product the order can be
complete. The user takes full
responsibility for the product content
they input and approve for printing.

Web to Print site pages
There are various other pages within the system that support the product ordering
process and the users experience.
• Edit my details – here the user can manage all their personal details within their own log
in, this includes their own image library.
• Saved Products – this is where the system saves all the products the user has worked on
so the user can leave a product half built and come back to it at a later date.
• Order History – this page shows all the orders that the user has previously created and
ordered. This is very helpful for re-prints as the users simply clicks to re-order.
• Help guides – on every page there is a help tab to guide the user through the site if
required.
