The system has been developed as per RDSO/SPN/188/2004 Ver.1 for double line block working, replacing the traditional double line block instruments. HIGHLIGHTS OF BPAC FOR DOUBLE LINE USING UFSBI (WEBFIL MAKE): Designed for fail safe operation. Triple redundant hardware at all levels with 2/3 decision logic ensures high degree of safety as well as availability. System meets CENELEC & ORE 155 guidelines for safety and reliability. System meets RDSO specification no. RDSO/SPN/188/2004 Ver.1 Simple, modular and rugged design. High performance 16 bit Microcontroller used for better software management. CMOS/FET active components to ensure low power consumption and better reliability. Hirel components, relays and connectors used to ensure high MTBF. All inputoutput connections are optically and/or galvanically isolated to eliminate ground noise and earth faults. Rugged communication protocol for transmission of error free data. Dual power supply in hot standby mode increases system availability. 16digit dotmatrix alphanumeric display for user friendly manmachine interface. Environment specification meets IS 9000. It complies with the CENELEC standards and conforming to Safety Integrity Level 4 (SIL4). The system incorporates auto features and eliminates manual cooperations from other end for Line Clear operation. Emergency cancellation at the receiving station. Automatic Train On Line. Automatic Line Close after sequence proved at receiving end. Simplified Block Back / Block Forward Operations. Cooperative Cancellation. Line Clear Blocking Key (LCB Key) to prevent automatic granting of Line Clear. Station Master Key (SM Key) to prevent unauthorized panel operations. Data logger connectivity.
