Would you mind / Do you mind + Ving
The response to the following request:
“Would you mind giving me your book, please?”
Is either:
“No, I don’t mind.” (positive response, which means I accept to lend you my book)
Or “Yes.” (negative response, which means that I don’t want to lend you my book)
