we
wound
up
sending
it
to
Laptop
Valhalla,
it
had
served
us

well
but

snobs

used

or

they’ll
never
go
back
to
a
P.C.

those
that
aren’t
trying

do
their
JIT

are

in
their

JIT
solutions.

Mindmeister-‐
is
an
online
Mindmap
software
site
which
specializes
in
visual

e-‐learning
solutions
utilizing
Mind-‐mapping
software.
It
is
good
to
facilitate

projects
in
brainstorming
ideas
and
has
plenty
of
options
for
collaborative

work
which
in
turn
allows
for
the
establishment
of
communities
of
learning,

i.e.
informal
learning.

academic

Among
it’s
more
widely

applications
are
Jing-‐allowing
screen
capture

how-‐to
tutorials”
which
Jing
allows
the
user
to

accomplish
quite
handily,
Camtasia-‐which
we
learned
much
about
when
we

weren’t
able
for
whatever
reason
to
make
Jing
work
as
an
video
creation
platform.

It
allows
for
the
creating
of
longer
video
presentations
which
we
utilized
to
make

a
couple
of
video
presentations
which
were
tutorials
for
the
use
of
Powerpoint.

familiar

in

our

we
used
it
to
create
a
Needs
Survey
which
one
respondent
mentioned

she
liked
surveys

JIT

It

surveys,
from

a
vast
store
of
questions,
or
allows
for
making
up
your
own.
It
also
lets
you
collate

data
from
the
surveys
and
to
see
the
results
in
terms
of
graphs
or
in
percentages.
