Is Second Life a Game?  Must games involve conflict, competition, challenge? What is the relationship between meaningful play and serious games? How the designer as player advocate compares from social issue games to commercial games (is it easier to watch and tweet than read and tweet?)

(Remember to consider the player experience…) Invent a mini-game for health for a specific subset of the MSU community.  Choose a health goal and an audience. Your game should be engaging, effective, and make strong use of either character, premise, and/or story. (It is OK but not necessary to do all three, but one of the three should be beautifully integrated, compelling, and integral to the intended serious effects. Read Fullerton Chapter 4 before attempting this assignment.
