- 1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
- 2. Photoshop I developed a lot of skills when working with Photoshop. At the start I wasn’t able to use Photoshop very well as I had never used it before, however the more I used it the easier I found it. I was able to develop skills in editing the picture and using the lasso and quick section tools. I found that after the preliminary task I had developed a few skills, but when doing my music magazine I decided to try out different tools.
- 3. InDesign When I started my media product I had never used InDesign before, through creating my contents and double page spread I was able to develop skills in using the tools on this program. I used a range of tools including the pen/pencil tools and being able to edit the image and the text to create a more individual look.
- 4. Camera’s I also used a Nikon to take the pictures for my photoshoot’s. I chose to use a Nikon because I thought it made the picture’s look more professional. Additionally, I developed skills in editing the photo’s, I used a very shallow depth of field to make the pictures look better, it was very focused on the artist and created very good quality images.
- 5. Prezi I used Prezi when presenting some of my evaluation questions and some of my research. I had never used Prezi before and at first found it quite hard to use; however I feel I have developed my skills and now find it easy to use. I think it looks really good and I think when presenting work it makes the presentation a lot more interesting.
- 6. Wordpress I used Wordpress for my blog, I found that it is very easy to use and it presented my work in a professional way. I also found it useful because I was able to follow other blogs and see how other people are presenting their work. It also allowed me to categorise my work so that it was easy to find my preliminary task and my research.
