What have you learnt about technology from the process of constructing this product?

- 2. Throughout this project I have learnt how to use WIX and its different components to present my project I have done this because I wanted to present my work in a way so that it was not ordinary looking, it is different. I have learnt how to present my work using galleries and videos for the interviews. Additionally, on adobe Photoshop I have learnt how to use layers so that I can work each individual layers so it doesn’t effect rest of my work, Quick Selection tool so that I can erase the background where the model is by using channels (RGB, RED, GREEN, BLUE). Then on the double page I can use character and paragraphs to see the interview in columns.
- 3. All of these new skills that I have learnt I can later use in my other subjects that I take especially in photography during editing. I have managed to incorporate different font size and colour and setting the layout of the page in an orderly way making it very easy for the audience to quickly take in what the magazine is about. I have been able to add features to make the magazine cover look realistic, such as the bar code.
- 4. Taking several images of the model during photo-shoot, using aperture, lighting, ISO and also editing the photo before resizing and cropping the image for use. For example, on my double page spread I had to use harsh lightening and then transform the photo in black and white. This created an indie vibe on the front cover. This project has given me the experience of using different content management platforms such as Surveynuts, Wix and Adobe Photoshop. Aperture ISO
