What is FACT? Why do you believe EVERYTHING you hear, see or read?
FACT A fact: “… is something that is the case, something that actually exists” “… or something that can be verified according to an established standard of evaluation” Page 1 Top
TRUTH “ Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.” Page 1 Top
Truth ... “ ...is the opposite of lies.” “ ...is to tell the truth.” “ ...differs from person to person.” “ ...what is truth but what we believe to be truth?” “ I don't believe that there's one truth. There are so many different people, and there are so many different ways you can look at things. I don't see how there could be just one truth.” Page 1 Bottom
Scientific Theory Theory Scientific theories attempt to understand the world of observation and sense experience. They attempt to explain how the natural world works. The Big Bang Evolution Page 2 Top
Scientific Law Law “…has a well documented history of successful replication and extension to new conditions” “… scientific laws does not explain things, but describe them” Gravity (predicts the behavior of a dropped object, but does not explain why it happened) Relativity Page 2 Bottom
What THEY tell you… "These chemicals meet EPA standards." “ You'd have to drink a swimming pool of this stuff before it would affect you.“ "There's no evidence that this compound harms humans."
Isn’t always what THEY should be saying “ On their surface, many of these statements appear reasonable. But once you scratch the surface, they prove to be little more than carefully constructed fictions and half-truths that obscure the real facts: that EPA requires little or no testing of compounds before they are released to the environment; that cancer rates are up, especially for the young; and that certain people, particularly young children, are extremely sensitive to certain compounds.“
Extra Terrestrials History Believers Evidence Aliens in Ancient Times
Alien Life Forms The UFO era began in 1947, when pilot Kenneth Arnold observed a disk-shaped aircraft flying near Mount Rainier. In 1947, the Air Force announced it had recovered a crashed "flying disk," later claiming it was merely a downed weather balloon. In 1978, a former base officer who had collected the debris said he believed the wreckage was extraterrestrial. Page 3 Top
Aliens… The truth is out there “ UFOs exist, the proof is undeniable. Thousands of people make reports yearly of strange lights performing impossible maneuvers that traditional earth-bound aircraft, commercial, military, etc; could never accomplish. While most of the world's governments try to deny the reality of their existence, they blame the sightings on natural aerial phenomenon, the planet Venus, swamp gas, weather balloons or mass hysteria.” www.aliensthetruth.com

The Statistics 1) The number of galaxies = estimated 100,000,000,000 galaxies (100 billion) 2) The number of stars in an average galaxy = 100,000,000,000 stars per galaxy. (100 billion) 3)The number of stars in the universe = That's 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars, 10 thousand, billion, billion. Properly known as 10 sextillion. And that's a very conservative estimate. 4) The number of stars that have planetary systems = 10,000,000,000,000,000 planets in the universe 5) The number planets capable of supporting life. Let's assume that this is very rare among planets and rate it at only one in a million. Simple division results in: 10,000,000,000 planets in the universe capable of producing life. Ten billion!
Alien Evidence Crop Circles What are they? Patterns created by the flattening of crops such as wheat, barley, and corn In 1966 one of the most famous accounts of UFO traces happened in the small town of Australia. The sighting was made by a sugar cane farmer who witnessed a saucer shaped craft rise from a swamp and then fly away. He then went to investigate the location where the saucer had been sitting finding a circular impression in the reeds approximately 30' in diameter. Page 4 Top

Crop Circles In 1991, more than a decade after the phenomenon began, two men from England announced that they had conceived the idea as a prank at a pub during an evening in 1976. Inspired by the 1966 Tully Saucer Nests, Doug Bower and Dave Chorley made their crop circles using planks, rope, hats and wire as their only tools: using a four-foot-long plank attached to a rope, they easily created circles eight feet in diameter. The two men were able to make a 40-foot circle in 15 minutes. Page 4 Bottom

Alien Evidence Nazca Lines What are they? They are a series of geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert in Peru. They were created by the Nazca culture between 200 BC and 700 AD. There are hundreds of individual figures, ranging in complexity from simple lines to stylized hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys and lizards. Page 5 Top

Alien Evidence Nazca Lines The Nazca lines cannot be recognized as coherent figures except from the air. Since it is presumed the Nazca people could never have seen their work from this vantage point, there has been much speculation on the builders' abilities and motivations. Page 5 Bottom

Making the Nazca Lines Nazca people made the lines using simple tools and surveying equipment. Wooden stakes in the ground at the end of some lines (which were used to carbon-date the figures) and ceramics found on the surface support this theory Actually has been reproduced by scientists without aerial supervision Page 6 Top
So why did the Nazca peoples make them? Many scholars believe that their motivation was religious, making images that only gods in the sky could see clearly. Some scientists believed that they were intended to point to the places on the distant horizon where the Sun and other celestial bodies rose or set. Page 6 Bottom
The Alien Theory Another scientist has proposed that the lines were in fact landing strips for alien spacecraft. His argument claimed that the designs are so large and complex that they could only have been constructed using flying machines. Page 7 Top
The Egyptian Pyramids
The Aliens and Egypt Did aliens build the pyramids? If you take the perimeter of the pyramid and divide it by two times the height,  you get a number that is exactly equivalent to the number pi (3.14159...) up to the fifteenth digit.   The chances of this phenomenon happening by sheer chance is remarkably small.   Did the ancient Egyptians know what the number pi was?   Not likely,  seeing as it was a number not calculated accurately to the fourth digit until the 6th century,  and the pyramids calculate it to the fifteenth.
Who built the pyramids? Although the Egyptians kept very careful records about everything they ever did;  every king they had,  every war they fought,  and every structure they built, there were no records of them ever having built the pyramids  Did you know that the height of the pyramid (481 feet) is almost exactly 1/1,000,000,000 of the distance from the earth to the sun (480.6 billion feet)?    Page 7 Bottom

Stonehenge, England
Stonehenge Were erected around 3100 and 2200 BC
Stonehenge Theories Temple for the Druids Burial grounds – 400 burial mounds surround the ancient monument Astronomical calendar Gateway to where we “came from” Every 5,000 yrs someone tries to open them, causing a catastrophic event Page 8 Top

The Earth is Flat Flat-Earth creationism states that the Earth is flat Immobile Center of the universe. It is covered by a solid, dome-like sky Most likely referring to the second day of creation The stars, sun and moon are embedded in this rigid dome Page 9 Top

Global Warming Myths… or are they? It isn't really happening It's natural Any effects will be very gradual  There's nothing to be done anyway Page 9 Bottom
Is it normal? Ice cores spanning 800,000 years show 8 glacial cycles Variations in temperature are blamed for 2 major extinctions: 251 million years ago 55 million years ago Page 9 Bottom
Global Warming History The LAST Ice Age Ended 18,000 years ago Global temperatures were only 5-9 degrees cooler than current temperatures During this period, the northeast United States was covered by more than 3,000 feet of ice. Page 10 Top

Are humans causing it? Industrialization, deforestation, and pollution have greatly increased atmospheric concentrations of water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, all greenhouse gases that help trap heat near Earth's surface. In the 1970’s, American’s were freaking out about a “global cooling” The Kyoto Project ONLY applies to developed countries Page 10 Bottom
Where does the CO 2 come from? Of the 186 billion tons of CO 2 that enter earth's atmosphere each year from all sources, only 6 billion tons are from human activity. Approximately 90 billion tons come from biologic activity in earth's oceans and another 90 billion tons from such sources as volcanoes and decaying land plants. Page 11 Top
Final Thoughts "Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing -- in terms of economic policy and environmental policy." Tim Wirth, US Senator for Colorado

Apollo Moon Landing
Apollo Moon Landing Claims that some or all elements of the Apollo Moon landings were faked by NASA The landing was filmed in a Hollywood studio OR in a cave beneath the desert According to a 1999 poll conducted by the Gallup Organization, 6 percent of the US public believes the landing was faked The astronauts may have used a "a secret zero gravity device" derived from technology found on a "captured extraterrestrial spaceship," but that NASA was compelled to cover up these facts and others relating to the gravity and the presence of atmosphere on the moon in order to maintain secrecy surrounding the alien space ship Page 12 Bottom

RIP Bigfoot In 1993, a man named Ray L. Wallace died from heart failure at 84 yrs of age His family admitted that he had 16in feet carvings and planted them in California around a construction zone Bulldozer operators noticed the tracks in 1958 Page 13 Bottom

John F. Kennedy The report stated that a solitary gunman named Lee Harvey Oswald was responsible. Working alone, he shot and killed the president. Oswald was soon captured and held by the Dallas, Texas, police for two days. Then Oswald himself was slain as he was being transferred from one jail to another. Oswald's slayer was Jack Ruby. Page 14 Top
JFK Assassination 35 eyewitness accounts that the 4 th shot came from behind a grassy knoll In addition, the trajectory of the bullet, which hit Kennedy above the right shoulder blade and passed through his neck (according to the autopsy) would have had to change course to pass through Governor Connally's chest and wrist The size of the back head wound, according to his description, indicated it was an exit wound, and that a second shooter from the front delivered the fatal head shot Oswald’s rifle could only fire 3 bullets in 6 seconds Page 14 Bottom
Bullet Trajectory
Reenactment “ We reconstructed the whole thing: the angle, the range, the moving target, the time limit, the obstacles, everything. I don’t know how many times we tried it, but we couldn’t duplicate what the Warren Commission said Oswald did. Now if I can’t do it, how in the world could a guy who wasn’t necessarily a marksman on the rifle range? US Marine Snipers
