PDHPE (Personal development, Health and Physical Education) is one of the six key learning areas in the Primary curriculum, focusing on giving students the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to lead a healthy, positive life. It encourages self-understanding and respect for others, promotes physical activity, and emphasizes informed decision making. The PDHPE K-6 syllabus aims to provide students with lifelong skills in communicating, decision making, interacting, moving, and problem solving. PDHPE benefits children by furthering their knowledge and understanding across active lifestyles, dance, games, growth and development, gymnastics, interpersonal relationships, personal health choices, and safe living.
