Wherecamp Navigation Conference 2015 - Indoor visualization and routing using OSM-based vector tiles at MentzDV

1) MentzDV is working on indoor visualization and routing using OpenStreetMap (OSM) data. They process OSM data and import it along with station and model data. 2) They presented an example of their work visualizing the underground levels and indoor areas of the Karlsplatz station in Munich. 3) Two methods for visualizing the data were discussed: bitmap tiles and vector tiles. Vector tiles allow for better rendering, interaction, and highlighting of attributes compared to bitmap tiles.
