A webquest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format where most or all of the information learners work with comes from the web. It consists of an introduction including a task, a list of information sources needed to complete the task, a description of the process learners should follow, and a conclusion that reminds learners what they have learned. Webquests allow for varied tasks such as retelling information, compiling data, solving mysteries, or engaging in creative projects. They provide authentic learning experiences using unlimited web resources in a structured manner.
