- 7. Positive communication skills For a team to work effectively, it’s essential that team members have the skills to communicate positively. By communicating positively co- workers need to be able to express their ideas and concerns in a clear and calm manner.

- 9. WHAT COMMUNICATION STLYE ARE THESE BIRDS EXHIBITING?!
- 10. PASSIVE Passive communicators tend to let others have their way as they don't let others know how they are feeling or what they are thinking.
- 11. ASSERTIVE The most effective communication style to use is to be assertive. This allows you to express your ideas and concerns in a manner, which will engage the listener and can lead into developing strategies for your suggestions to be put into actions.
- 12. ASSERTIVE Assertive communicators value both their ideas and the ideas of others and so state clearly what they want and why but also ask others for their input.
- 13. AGGRESSIVE Aggressive communicators use force or intimidation to get what they want. They don't appear to care what others want and demand that their ideas are heard and acted upon.
