Indians in the battle helped his public recognition and increased his popularity in society. In the
election of 1820, Andrew Jackson ran for presidency and won with flying colors. Jackson s humble

bootstrap datasets that were used in the HOPACH method. In looking further into this, I found that the
default number of bootstrap samples is 1000. The documentation for this package noted that this

Correspondently, Martin Dugard addressed this theme in his less scholarly narrative, The Training

Similar to Alfred H. Bill s Rehearsal for Conflict: The War with Mexico, 1846 1848 (1969),
Dougherty and Dugard suggested that military officers of the U.S. Civil War that cut their teeth in the
Mexican American War. While this correlation is well demonstrated, this treatment is particular useful
when examining the Second Seminole War in relation to the development of the Regular Army in the
19th century. The Second Seminole War transcended the other Indian Wars in the antebellum period in
scale, duration, and complexity. Moreover, it was the testing ground for the internal developments and
regulations of the United States Regular Army and its involvement beyond its borders. Historians
recognize the Mexican American War as a proving ground for the Regular Army on the eve of the U.S.
Civil War a prologue of sorts but overlook the significance of the Second Seminole War on the Army s
ascension. The regulations and structure developed by the Quartermaster Department during the post
War of 1812 reforms were tested during the Second Seminole War, which further guided the
development of strategies relating to supplying the United States Army during the Mexican American

War. An exploration into the correlation of the experiences of Quartermaster Department during in the
Second Seminole War and Mexican American War remains uncharted territory and is overdue for

It was a pan Islamic movement between 1919 till 1924. Some of the great journalists of that time like
Maulana Mohammad Ali Johar and his brother Maulana Shaukat Ali worked very hard for this cause
with lots of other important personalities. The Muslim press and newspapers also played an important
role amongst the Muslims about the importance of the Khilafat Movement. Initially the movement
was quite successful through strikes and protests all over India but this movement could not gain a lot
of success in the long run. However, the role of Muslim press during that time would always be
remembered in history with golden words.
Although the Khilafat Movement was not a success, it united the Muslims of Sub continent and
injected a new spirit amongst them which was the real energy behind the independence movement
later on.
