BeforeSince I was young, I always dreamed of traveling around the world, visiting many countries and reporting on world hunger, genocide and various topics of common interest. It wasn’t until recently, that I actually got a, “birds eye view” into the real, yet complicated world of the subject matter, I so desperately ventured to write about. My own small town which is actually categorized as a city, has a calm and friendly like atmosphere that welcomes everyone regardless their past and regardless their origin. The close net, small town feel, is one of it’s most valued attributes, which is ultimately why I’ am always guided back here. The most valuable lesson that I’ve learn from my small town, was that this kind of peace isn’t found any and everywhere, but where it does exist, one must first acknowledge, and cherish it for as long as they can.

BeforeAfterThis is not news. Life expectancy can increase with weight loss. So what new ideas do the CALERIE folks have? This isn’t anything that we haven’t all heard before. Obviously, anytime you go on a diet, you stand a good chance of lowering your blood pressure, cholesterol level and risk of diabetes and other health woes, and all that can translate into extra years. So what are the CALERIE folks bringing to the table that’s new?
