Greek and Roman architecture is truly amazing. They each had great ideas, and fabulous productions.
It is said that the Pantheon is to Italy what the Parthenon is to Greece. Both are tremendous
monuments that reek of culture and history. Each had a purpose which was displayed by the design
and construction of each. There are such great meanings behind each of these architecural structures.
The Romans and the Greeks alike worshipped and dedicated their structures and designs to the Gods
and Goddess they believed in.

From the outside of the Pantheon the dome seems shallow and insignificant, said to be purposely done
not to ruin the suprise of the interior (Gilbert 379). It is only when viewing the inside that one can
truly appreciate the amazing architectural design and workmanship of this building. Another
remarkable attribute of this temple to the gods is that it is still in use today with much of the original
materials intact. The columns, the marble paneled walls, the floor, and the two enormous bronze doors
are all originals, making the Pantheon the best preserved surviving Roman structure. The Panthenon

Dedicated to the goddess Athena, the warrior maiden, the Parthenon is a Doric style temple (Gilbert
368). It took about 15 years to complete this strucutre (Gilbert 370). A lot like the Roman Pantheon, it
had many columns surrounding the interior and exterior of this structure. This place was decorated
with many sculptures along the inner roof top. It was painted in vivid colors, such as red and blue
(Gilbert 370). Refered to as the cella its inner chamber housed the monumental statue of the Goddess
Athena. Pheidias hisself created this thirty foot high statue of Athena Parthenos, consisting of a frame
made of wood, metal, clay, and plaster.

Firstly, eggs were collected from the eyes of Scomberomorus niphonius and disinfected in 1% sodium
sulﬁte solution for 3 min, and subsequently in 3% Lysol brand disinfectant for 5 min. The disinfected
eggs were then transferred to sterile vials to clone. Secondly, third stage larvae of Lucilia sericata were
selected to be placed in 3.5% formalin for 5 min, 2% hydrogen peroxide solution for 3 min, and then
5% dilute hydrochloric acid solution for 5 min. After the two step disinfection, the larvae remined
vigorous. A hundred randomly selected larvae were proven to be aseptic by bacterial culture test.
Treatment
After two step disinfection, disinfected larvae were applied to the lesion.

My great grandfather, Sanford Robert Gragg, was an extraordinary man. Although I never had the
privilege to meet him, the stories that have been told about his life urge me to learn more about how

gaming. They came up with the video game Pokémon . Although I am a girl, I consider myself a
gamer at heart. This game is something that is very dear to me because this game established a strong
relationship between my sister and I. I have always been inquisitive in nature therefore I always
wondered if I could relate my hobby of gaming to math. Although math is a struggle for me, I have
decided to step out of my comfort and explore the first game I played in my life and investigate the
use of math in the capture rate of the pokemons. This was a simple 2 D, 64 bit game that involved the
players moving a character in a fictional world, capturing balls and going on adventures. Players
would have to solve difficult puzzles and train their own Pokémon in order to progress through the
game. They do this by meeting progressively stronger computer controlled trainers along the way and
battling with their Pokémon. The player s Pokémon gain experience through defeating the opponent.
The players can also capture new ones as well. Generally, as the player progresses, stronger Pokémon
appear, and the players have a chance to capture them. They do this by throwing a tennis sized ball
that will transport the entire Pokémon into the ball that they threw with.
