As we say goodbye, we remind ourselves that farewells are not forever, nor are they the end. They are
simply words to say that we will miss you dearly and that we will remember you fondly. Although we may be
separated by time and distance in the interim, nothing will diminish the important role that you have and
always will play in our lives.

My name is Rohan Mehta and today I will be persuading you that children should not be on social media. Firstly, I’ll be mentioning just how easy it is for people to hack into an account and invade your private life. Secondly, social media can encourage cyber-bullying and expose children to inappropriate information. Children are extremely vulnerable these days with the amount of freedom they are given but add to that their vulnerability on line, this is exacerbated. Children are online and their lives may be totally exposed. Hacking means to gain unauthorized data through a system or computer. This is effectively stealing information from someone’s social media account, for example: their address, phone number, school and even bank account details. Hacking into one’s social media account nowadays is unfortunately a very common occurrence and can cause untold destruction to a person’s life. For example: Money could be stolen from them or their information could be used for negative purposes. Often people post on another person’s account pretending to be them. This can lead to bullying and can cause serious stress to the individual. The opposition may argue that apps nowadays are very secure and safe. When you delete some mistakenly posted picture or information, you assume it is gone and there is nothing to worry about…but it is NEVER GONE!! As I mentioned earlier password security is an issue. People may have personal messages or information that has been shared in confidence stored within their social media accounts. If they have not secured their privacy settings their messages and shared pictures could be on view to anyone in the public. Privacy settings on these apps are often very difficult to find and use. Children especially may not think of trying to find them when setting up their accounts. This means the content on their apps is visible to people all over the world. This proves that social media is not only a bad idea but is seriously dangerous. Thank you for listening to me who spoke to you about how social media can influence bad behaviour, encourage cyber bullying and leave children open to having their accounts hacked. We hope that all of these points make you realise how dangerous Social Media is to vulnerable children and we urge you to agree with us that social media is NOT a good idea. Thank you.

Mr Prabhat Shankar, DM of Agra graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The school Principal gave speech highlighting the meritorious services of the school to the cause of education for the last twenty five years. He honoured six teachers for their dedicated services in the field of education. The students who were the allrounders of each class were awarded medals by the DM. SCHOOL MAGAZINE REPORT WORKSHOP ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT BY RAJESH SONI CLASS XII Six students of our school were sponsored to attend the recent two-day Personality Development workshop conducted by M/s Creative Solutions Consultants at Sarabhai Seminar Hall in the city. This workshop was also attended by the students of class XII of other schools so that the total number of participants were 35. This workshop featured presentations by eminent personalities on various topics like communication skills, presentation skills, time management and team building. Each presentation was followed by a one-hour discussion on the concerned topic, which was the most beneficial part of the workshop. The presenters were Rajat Puri, Communications Specialist, Sarvesh Mittal, NDTV Presenter, and Sudhir Das, Independent Consultant. Such an eminent gathering of professionals generated the necessary enthusiasm among the students who asked some intelligent questions that were answered convincingly by the guests. The workshop was highly beneficial in developing our personalities.
