The WS4920 repeats the 1-way wireless device’s signal to ensure high-quality signals are transmitted to the control panel/ receiver. The WS4920 Wireless Repeater is ideal in both new and existing installations. In the past, occasionally the size of the building, layout or even materials of construction, required additional receivers or a wired system. Now with the WS4920 Wireless Repeater, up to four repeaters can be installed on one control panel. Within existing installations, in some instances, the wireless signal from devices may be adversely affected by interference and noise sources, such as interference-generating electronics or changes to the existing layout or construction materials. The backward compatible WS4920 Wireless Repeater easily extends the range of 1-way wireless devices and can avoid costly modifications to the installation.
